Is it possible to make it so guests can still see the board? It's annoying to have to login when all I wanna do is check out recent posts.

I just checked the first thing I found to stop the spam, I didn't keep looking. I can look again for a better solution. The spam wasn't that bad but it was pretty consistent, and I got sick of deleting them.

Ok, we're good. I also stumbled to the long lost calendar while looking for stuff. Happy birthday Jay! Another thing I found was user posting was disabled in the rules corner. I was wondering why only Jeff and Colin had input to the RPI stuff, but that explains it. Feel free to post now if you've got ideas or more formats I didn't write about yet.

We should try mental magic...
I don't know all the specifics, but all you have to do is grab a bunch of non-basic land cards (preferably a large variety of trash commons), and shuffle them. Both players agree on a format (Standard, Extended, etc.) and splits the pile into 2 decks. Any card can be placed facedown as a land of every basic land type. Every card you draw can be played as if another legal card in the format w/ the exact mana cost.
Example - Both players agree on Extended. Player1 draws a Civic Wayfinder. He can play that card as any card w/ mana cost 2G; such as Gilt-Leaf Ambush and when it hits the graveyard, he can cast it as Call of the Herd for its flashback cost). However each player is restricted to play each card ONLY ONCE. So if player1 instead decide to play Civic Wayfinder from his hand as Call of the Herd; he will not be able to play its flashback ability.
Hybrid mana costs will count as either of the symbols used.
Example - Beseech the Queen can be played as Mindslaver, Cairn Wanderer, Seize the Soul, or Gravestorm.
Cards-Types of Cards not in play are the actual types printed on the card. So if Player1 casts "Tarmogoyf" its p/t will b determined by the types of the ACTUAL cards in the graveyards.
That's a quick run-down of this type of variant magic. If anyone has questions, feel free to post, and I'll try and answer them, if I can.

NO! Our monopoly on the Rules Corner is crumbling! No! No! Wait. Don't care. That's pretty odd.
